English Muffin Pizzas
These mini pizzas are the perfect quick lunch, weeknight dinner, or customizable snack. Easy to make, fun for kids, and endlessly versatile!
Ingredients
- 1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of choice (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, for brushing)
- Dried herbs such as oregano or basil for garnish (optional)
- 6 English muffins, split
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now. A baking sheet works too.
- Prepare the Muffins: Split English muffins with a fork for best texture. Place cut side up on a baking sheet. Optionally brush with olive oil and toast for 5 minutes to prevent sogginess.
- Add Sauce & Toppings: Spread pizza sauce, sprinkle cheese, and add desired toppings.
- Bake: Return to oven for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden.
- Serve: Garnish with dried herbs if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
