- ½ tsp Salt – Balances the sauce.
- ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes – Optional, for a bit of heat.
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large Ziploc bag, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Shake to mix.
- Add the chicken cutlets to the bag and shake until each piece is well coated.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and sauté the chopped onion until softened (about 3–4 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and diced tomatoes. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring often.
- Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of flour and stir to combine, allowing it to cook for 1 minute.
- Add red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning.
- Slowly whisk in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked spaghetti until evenly coated in the sauce.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Let it heat through for 1–2 minutes before serving.
