Devil Crab Cream Cheese Ball

This Devil Crab Cream Cheese Ball is a wonderfully savory and flavorful appetizer, perfect for parties or gatherings. Combining tender imitation crab with a rich, seasoned cream cheese base, crisp vegetables, and a zesty kick, it’s easily shaped and chilled for a crowd-pleasing dip.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz imitation crabmeat flakes
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely diced white onion
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Cocktail sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine All Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine imitation crab, cream cheese, cheddar, onion, celery, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and all seasonings. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  2. Shape the Ball: Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on a plate. Scoop the cheese mixture into the center. Gather the plastic wrap edges and twist to form a round ball.
  3. Chill: Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or until firm enough to hold its shape.
  4. Serve: Unwrap and place on a serving plate. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or veggie sticks like cucumber, carrots, or bell peppers.
  5. Optional Garnish: Pour cocktail sauce over the cheese ball just before serving for an extra flavor boost.
