Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescents

These sausage and cream cheese crescents are a savory and delicious treat perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick snack. Serve them with a side of eggs for a complete and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground sausage (breakfast, Italian, or other)
  • 1 C. Shredded cheese of choice
  • 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans Refrigerated crescent rolls
  • Pepper to taste

How To Make Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them flat. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create two smaller triangles.
  3. Cook the ground sausage in a skillet until it is completely browned. Drain any excess grease.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled ground sausage, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Add pepper to taste and stir until the mixture is fully combined.
  5. Spoon a small ball of the sausage mixture onto the widest end of each crescent roll piece.
  6. Starting at the wide end, roll the dough over the filling to form a mini stuffed crescent roll.
  7. Place the crescents on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
