Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescents

- 1 lb. Ground sausage (breakfast, Italian, or other)
- 1 C. Shredded cheese of choice
- 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans Refrigerated crescent rolls
- Pepper to taste
How To Make Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them flat. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create two smaller triangles.
- Cook the ground sausage in a skillet until it is completely browned. Drain any excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled ground sausage, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Add pepper to taste and stir until the mixture is fully combined.
- Spoon a small ball of the sausage mixture onto the widest end of each crescent roll piece.
- Starting at the wide end, roll the dough over the filling to form a mini stuffed crescent roll.
- Place the crescents on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
