Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites

Equipment

  • Glass Bowl
  • 8×8 Baking Dish

 Ingredients

For the Biscuit Bites

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuits (standard size – not Grands)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For the Icing

  • ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

 Instructions

For the Biscuit Bites

  1. Prep: In a shallow glass bowl, melt butter in the microwave using reduced power.
In another shallow bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Cut: Using kitchen shears, cut each biscuit into thirds.
Place the pieces on a plate, separating them so they don’t stick.
  3. Coat: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray the bottom and sides of an 8×8 dish with cooking spray.
Dip each biscuit piece into melted butter, then into the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and arrange in the baking dish.
  4. Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the tops are deep golden brown.
Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

For the Icing

  1. Stir together the confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Drizzle over the warm biscuit bites.

 Recipe Notes

  • This recipe can be doubled easily using 2 biscuit tubes, double the coating ingredients, and a 9×13 baking dish.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Serve warm for the best texture and taste.
