3-Ingredient Simple Seeded Bread loaf, no yeast, no sugar

If you don’t eat white flour, you’ll love this one. This simple seeded bread is made with just three basic ingredients — no yeast, no sugar, no flour — and bakes up into a hearty, wholesome loaf that is perfect for breakfast or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 280 g (2 cups) mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, flax, sesame)
  • 1 cup (250 ml) plain yogurt or kefir
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a loaf pan or oven-safe glass baking dish (a large jar-style dish works too).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed seeds, salt, and baking soda.
  3. Pour in the yogurt and stir well until all the seeds are evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 50–60 minutes, until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely before slicing.

Slice, toast, and enjoy with butter, avocado, or your favorite spread — a delicious, naturally gluten-free bread you’ll make again and again.
