3 apples, 3 eggs, a glass of milk apple dessert loaf cake

This viral apple dessert lives up to its name: three apples, three eggs, and a glass of milk come together into a soft, custardy cake that truly melts in the mouth. It takes just minutes to stir together, and the kitchen fills with a sweet, buttery aroma while it bakes.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 glass (about 200 ml) milk
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Butter, for greasing the pan
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a round cake pan or loaf pan with butter.
  2. Peel, core, and dice the apples into small cubes.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the milk and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  5. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt over the bowl and fold gently until you have a smooth batter.
  6. Fold in the diced apples so they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Serve it warm or at room temperature — either way, one slice is never enough!
