No-Bake Peanut Condensed Milk Bars

These no-bake peanut condensed milk bars are a rich, satisfying treat made with just a few simple ingredients and absolutely no oven time. Creamy, sweet, and slightly chewy, they combine the natural crunch of peanuts with the smooth indulgence of condensed milk to create a dessert that feels both rustic and irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups roasted peanuts (unsalted or lightly salted)
  • 2 cans (14 oz / 397 g each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for extra richness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Optional additions:

  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup crushed biscuits or graham crackers
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (if peanuts are unsalted)

Instructions

  1. Line a square or rectangular baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang on the sides to make removal easier.
  2. Spread the roasted peanuts evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish. If you’re using coconut or crushed biscuits, mix them with the peanuts before spreading.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, gently warm the sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly. Add the butter if using and stir until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly pour the warm condensed milk evenly over the peanuts, making sure all areas are well coated. Use a spatula to gently press everything down and level the surface.
  5. Allow the dish to cool slightly at room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 3–4 hours, or until fully set and firm.
  6. Once set, lift the slab out using the parchment paper. Place on a cutting board and slice into squares or bars with a sharp knife.

These bars are delicious served chilled or at room temperature. They pair wonderfully with coffee or tea and can be drizzled with melted chocolate or topped with a light sprinkle of sea salt for an extra layer of flavor. Enjoy!
