These warm Apple Pie Biscuits combine fluffy, buttery biscuits with a sweet cinnamon-spiced apple filling. They’re quick to prepare and make a cozy dessert or breakfast treat, especially when served fresh from the oven.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8-count) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1 can (20 oz) apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
- Gently flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of apple filling in the center. Bring the edges together and pinch firmly to seal.
- Arrange the filled biscuits seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Brush generously with melted butter and sprinkle the tops with granulated sugar and a little extra cinnamon.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed and golden brown.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
Serve them slightly warm so the biscuit stays soft and the cinnamon-apple center remains deliciously gooey. Enjoy!
