
Sweet, crunchy, and kissed with cinnamon — these Candied Pecans are dangerously addictive. They take minutes to prep, fill your kitchen with the smell of the holidays, and make the perfect snack, salad topper, or homemade gift.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups (1 lb) unsalted pecan halves
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk the egg white, vanilla, and water until frothy. Toss the pecans in the mixture to coat.
- Add the sugar mixture and toss until the pecans are evenly covered.
- Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake 40–45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Cool completely on the sheet. Store airtight for up to 2 weeks.
